Some minor modifications to the inner guard may be required to ensure suitability with a third party snorkel.

IMPORTANT: Installing an aftermarket Airbox/intake system can alter the airflow characteristics of your vehicle. As a result, some vehicles may require an ECU calibration (tune) and/or MAF sensor rescaling to ensure the engine management system accurately measures airflow. Whether this is required will depend on your vehicle's existing modifications, the overall intake setup and the ECU's ability to adapt. Apex 4x4 Customs recommends consulting a reputable tuner if your vehicle is heavily modified or if any drivability concerns arise following installation.
